Davis Langdon & Seah Vietnam “DLS-VN” is a wholly foreign owned entity, fully licensed to operate in Vietnam in the field of cost management, tender management and risk management.
DLS-VN is a member of Davis Langdon & Seah International, the world's largest group specialized in Construction Cost Management / Quantity Surveying with over 5000 staff in 105 offices and manages circa USD 30 billion worth of construction work annually worldwide.
DLS-VN established operations in Vietnam since the beginning 1990’s and has over the last 13 years been providing consultancy services to more than one hundred and sixty nine (169) projects country-wide and in some countries such as Cambodia, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan and USA.
DLS-VN has set up and regularly update and develop extensive databases of costs, contractors, suppliers, legal documents and compliances.
Currently, we are operating from two (02) offices in Vietnam, with 70 staff under a purposely high level expatriate management.

- Researching local market prices and advising the Project Director / Associate and / or Senior Quantity Surveyor for incorporation into cost estimates.
- Assisting in monthly cost reports to the Owner.
- Assisting in monthly valuations for progress payments and evaluation of variations.
- Assisting the Owner’s construction management team in the provision of Quantity Surveying and Cost Management functions
- Measuring quantities of structural trades and finishes trades and MEP trades accurately
- Describing structural trades and finishes trades and MEP trades accurately
- Understand the building elements
- Built up unit rate when required
- Reach a high standard in measurement and re-measurement
- Preparing BQs, Cost Estimation, etc to high standard
- Preparing reports to high standard
- Improving and manage the cost database and other operation databases
- Doing cost analysis record of project/ summary of project quantities |

* REQUIREMENTS:
- University Graduate. Master Degree is preferable
- Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Good English speaking and writing skills
- At least 4-5 years of relevant experience in cost planner and estimator for Building /Civil and Infrastructure Works
- Excellent skills for analysis and built up unit rate
- Wide knowledge of import duty of construction material
- Experience in cost estimation and pricing
- Vietnamese Cost Norm Estimation for Builder and Civil Works items is an advantage
- Willing to work overtime / at weekend to fulfill the pending tasks or urgent requirement
- Willing to support / help colleague in the company
